I hope they send these bottles to regular distribution channels and it's not another taproom only release. Either way, this is some of the best news of the year. Loved King Sue the one time I've had it. Would love to have it periodically in bottles, ala Sosus!

Also, that label is awesome. Totally vintage, 1950's movie poster look (like Creature From The Black Lagoon, King Kong, Godzilla or The Blob).

    BottleCaps, I'm disappointed.

I can't believe that someone else beat you to the punch on starting this thread...lol

Cool artwork. How long does the TTB take to approve labels?

Also, they've given no indication they even started brewing another batch so any potential bottling is quite a ways out I think.

I'm calling a July Fourth release. Two case limit and gone by Friday at noon.

According to comments on Toppling Goliath's facebook page, this will hit regular distribution channels and not be taproom only. They do not currently plan on kegging any to put on tap. This whole batch is, as of now, going to bottles.

Really, really doubt it. If they are still seeking approval on the label, I doubt that they have all the labels printed, probably just a handful to show. Plus, good chance they don't have the beer brewed yet as if I was waiting on someone's approval on something and they might not approve, I'd probably make sure I had a label I could use, especially for a hoppy beer where freshness matters (plus not wanting to take up tank space with beer just waiting for a label).

Though, I dunno, maybe they've brewed the beer already and just need to apply the labels to the bottles. Though I still wouldn't want a IIPA sitting around.

@treznor I think @Roudy1 was making a sarcastic joke, eluding to the release of Naughty Temple/David over Memorial Day weekend at the taproom and it being a two case limit on those beers and them being sold out in less than a day.

But yeah...sarcasm and the internet don't work so well together sometimes.

Ah, yes. I don't actually keep up with TG all that much since getting it requires me to drives to Wisconsin from Minneapolis during the week while I'm at work and then flying it home with me (which I actually did last night for the first time for some Pseudo Sue), so didn't catch the reference.

Drinking a growler of regular sue and definitely need to try the king. Hoping I can score a bottle of this.

I chatted with there Wisconsin beer man and he told me they were waiting for label approval before they brew it. I am guessing August release at the earliest.

Stopped by TG today and was told King Sue is all ready to go they are just awaiting the label approval. Beer is brewed an ready for bottles the second it's approved sounds like!!

I like Pseudo Sue more than King Sue. I think it's safe to assume that I'm in the minority in this.

This is not true. I'm not sure who told you otherwise, but I have not brewed it yet. Light Speed (aka Millennium Falcon) is in tanks and still waiting label approval. Perhaps they meant that?
