I wonder if King Sue was Mike's name...they said this new DIPA is a lotta Citra. Sounds like King Sue to me.

No, it seems like no extra bottles and no reservations. What a waste of 50 bucks.

I'm cool if all of you want to give up your memberships...should shorten the waiting list a bit. I was told via email the waiting list is now close to 3 years.

ReGifter IIPA also here. $30 a growler though. I had a chalice and it was delicious. Couldn't bring myself to drop $30 on it.

Well, except for all the savings on the growlers and getting mugs instead of pints.

Anyone care to report on the following?

    -what exactly sr-71 is
-what the two different colors of wax indicate
    -price
-whether they will have sr-71 bottles tomorrow
-specifics / impressions of the new IPAs

Barrel aged stout- some have said it's assassin left to age for another year
No difference is bottles, just two different types of wax
$25 each limit 2 per person
Who knows if they'll have any tomorrow

This seems unlikely, as SR-71 has been released before (albeit draft only) and didn't garner anywhere near the kudos that Assassin has been getting since almost day one.

I've had SR-71 on tap before and it wasn't barrel aged. This is a completely different beer but with the same name.
