I've wanted to but my concious got the better of me.

 

No one can pick up their bottles until tomorrow, the 13th.

 

Wonderful post - this can be read straight or with heavy sarcasm & it rings just as true!

 

I saw some Stone rep picture on Instagram who tried it a couple days ago. Said that was "great", not as good as Chez though. Fruit character is subtle apparently.

 

Thanks! Was just looking for any feedback on Kiwi. Seems like I should wait for more reviews before giving up a king's ransom.

Nothing like overvaluing your beer one minute, then devaluing the same beer to try and get more and then I assume... Overvalue it again to try to reap the benefit once more. Truly a class act and I know he isn't the only one doing it but man this is getting pretty sad.

 

I wouldn't say he's overvaluing or undervaluing his beer, just sticking with a very strict $4$.

I am getting a bottle of BA silhouette at the end of the month, similar bottle count. I will trade 1:1 with Kiwi/Chez etc. Silhouette came to $16 so I'm a little over $4$ but that's ok

 

Always cite $4$ when it's massively in your favor; that is the way of the new BA.

I want Kiwi Herman to succeed, I really do despite all my jest (elsewhere, not on forum) but holy $h!t these So.Cal folks are not making it easy huh. Always bitching about everyone else devaluing Cali market, but as soon as something like this come around they are holding a king's ransom over it. If it turns out great, prop to them (mostly to Alpine,) but there is a good chance this is just an overhyped beer, and those folks that gave up their cellar treasure for it will definitely reflect their bitterness in their rating and review, and all this played out like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

 

They are putting kegs of it on today until it runs out. The beer is really good, the fruit really pops, good souring.

HAhaha incredible, I love that it's all the same guy. If he succeeds, he'll create an infinite, exponentially increasing loop. How many cycles before he has every remaining bottle?

The feeling is mutual ( and to all who have a DNT list and I'm in there). Plus I'm not the only only right now doing the same FT:ISO. Anyways, gotta leave soon to drink kiwi Herman on tap and pick up my bottles. Don't have time for this
