    Wegman's Northborough has it for $8.49. I didn't see a two-for-one sign, so I passed.

Wegmans Westwood had a JA tasting and it was $8.99 I asked the rep if that was an error, he said no. I purchased a 6 pack of Lagunitas born yesterday for $10.29 instead.

Shouldn't this be like $5 a bottle? 64 oz growler is $16 at the brewery.

Agreed, I recall paying $7-8 tops last year, but think it was more in the $6ish range

If you're paying $7-8 for a bottle of Kiwi Rising at retail, you're part of the problem. This beer isn't limited - they brew a healthy amount of it. Paying 40-60% above MSRP is ridiculous.

Stores own this at $3.33/btl. Anyone selling it for $8.99 is out of control. There was more than enough of this to go around....

Come to ball square fine wine in somerville. We got kiwi for 4.94 per bottle! I work the cooler and made sure it got a prime spot on the shelf. Kiwi rising is one of my favorite JA releases.

Good lord. When you buy it at the brewery for that price, you get a free pizza with it...

Yeah. I left it on the shelf and decided to go see how much it was at Berman's...$4.99. Surprising, because Wegman's seems to be on the low end most of the time. Double the price of other stores is pretty crazy.

$8.49 Wegmans Northboro. No thanks. Wasn't this closer to $6 last year?

Pretty damn sure it's always been $5.00. Weird one to price gouge on, it sells well enough but it's not Lunch or KBS or what have you...

It's funny that people go bonkers for its release given that we score it almost identical to Hoponius and Mass Rising (only 0.07 points higher) yet it costs at least twice as much as HU. The power of beers not available year round...

I don't know man, but this stuff seems to get hoppier every year. Great batch!! My favorite Jack's Abby brew..... The ABC's was great too, but I think it was only brewed once.

Alas, I only think this is a fraction better than Mass Rising, but when the freshest I can find of that beer on shelves is 7/15 well...

It is more the certainty of freshness with this one as far as I'm concerned.
