    Hey guys,

I'm moving up to Klamath Falls from the Orange County area and I was curious if anyone knew of any bottle shops in the Klamath area? I've been to Klamath Basin brewing, and will check out Mia and Pia's when I move up there.

It's been a while since I've been down there, and likely things have changed, but there was always a great selection at Fred Meyer. Mia & Pia's is solid, but nothing really spectacular. That being said, In my 3 years in the basin, I spent a lot of time there.

Fred Meyer huh? Maybe grocery stores are better up there for craft beer than down here. Thanks for the input.

I don't know about KF, but most of the grocery stores in the NW have good, ranging to great, selections. Your beer shopping (probably) just got easier.

While Kfalls may not be the hotbed, it's a quick pop over the hill to Ashland, with lots of good options as well. The CoOp and Market of Choice in Ashland are great spots for bottles, and Caldera is pretty great, Standing Stone occasionally knocks one out of the park.

And Bend is close enough for a day trip. The options there are limitless, both in breweries and bottles.

Portland Street Market. When I was there (a couple years ago), they had a surprisingly good bottle selection for a town like KFalls. Very much worth a visit.

Mia and Pia's has decent pizza, but IMO the beer is meh.

As the previous post said, the options are good in the Rogue Valley, not too far to the west. In addition to places already mentioned, Medford's Beerworks is a very solid bottleshop.

FYI, I was just at Ashland's Market of Choice last week, and the selection was better than I remember. Along with a wide range of more typical stuff, they had a couple de Garde beers (the common ones), HotD Adam from the Wood and Cherry AftW, and lots of other good stuff. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.
