Deep river where I saw it in OC ranging from 10.99-12. Certainly wasn't price worthy imo, what pricing were you finding it at?

Had it (Lupulin River) on draft earlier today in HB. It was $10+ for a 16oz pour. I opted for half a pour for half the price. I thought it was riduculous to pay $10+ for it. Yes $5 is a lot for 8oz pour too. Maybe because they were the first and only place in LA/OC to have it. But I was better off since I was on my way to work. But oh it was so tasty! Just like Deep River. I have a feeling the bottle prices will be between 9-13.

Called the brewery last week about the bottle release of this. They said distributors were picking up end of last week and that it should be out starting next week in bottles. I saw that BT's BBQ had it on tap in Huntington Beach and that was about it.

Yup. That's where I had it yesterday, BTs. They had Deep River twice when it was out last Nov/Dec and Feb. And there are the only place I know of that gets Societe in OC. They might not have the most or the best taps. But they do get some interesting IPA's. My only complaint on the Lupulin River was the price for a full pour. Other than that BTs is the shIte.

I thought Lupulin tasted different than Deep River. Loving Lupulin. Payed $10 for a 22 oz. in SF.

I'll agree slightly, I think Lupulin tastes closer to the Kern batch of Deep River vs. the first Knee Deep batch. Doesn't matter much, it's delicious...just wishing KD could follow others to the 6pk format revolution!

Lupulin has that note that Simtra has. I describe it as tasting like B.O. smells and I love it.

This stuff is AWESOME. The price? SUCKS. 10.99 for a 8% IPA??? St. Archer Mosaic IPA 9% goes for 7.50.

Knee Deep prices are just dumb, I don't drink their beers as a result. Why drink their overpriced beers when there is a wide array of equal or better beers at lower price points?

I haven't until Knee Deep / Lupulin River, which is good enough to be worth the occasional splurge purchase.
