Bought some at D&Q the other day (had to look it up when I saw it since I never heard of them)....amazing. Bought some of the Simtra as well, good stuff. Where else can I find this?

I'm not sure where you can find it in Houston, but I just wanted to second that the Lupulin River is an amazing beer. I've had the Extra Citra from Knee Deep and that was decent, but this was much better.

I think Knee Deep is only being distributed in Austin right now :slight_frown: they make some incredible hoppy beers.

Well this thread was started by someone who bought it in Houston so.......

I've definitely seen it at Specs Downtown and the Nobi Shell Station. Pretty sure Hay Merchant has had it in the past too

Crazy to see so many beers Ive gotten in past trades making it to Texas. Most excellent!

Final straw for me would be to make it legal to ship beer here...

Knee Deep Brewing, located in Auburn, California, has expanded distribution to the Lone Star state. Partnering with Austin Specialty Beverage, Knee Deep will be available in the Austin area, as well as Houston and Dallas in late 2016. "Austin Specialty Beverage is highly regarded, and we are more than excited to launch with them in the state," said Andrew Moore, sales manager of Knee Deep.

This has me perplexed. I've been interested in trying Knee Deep and saw that D&Q started getting their stuff in February. I think I've seen tweets from them showing they've received 6 different varieties. Smith St. Specs has received Lupulin River and Simtra, if memory serves correctly (they didn't have either my two trips there since Feb.). I'm a regular at all of the west side and Sugar Land stores and none of them have gotten any KD. How is D&Q doing this?

From what I heard, Austin Specialty makes infrequent trips to Houston, so I imagine their footprint here is pretty small. They probably just can't handle anything more right now.
