Knee Deep/ Russian River Collaboration???

Got a bottle tonight at WholeFoods...flat as my favorite fishing waters. Taste is great. I had some on tap at KRBC and the bottled version is a far cry unfortunately.

Expert Tip: Shake bottle vigorously, pour and drink fast. It helps for reals.

 

KD, you are the weakest link, good bye.

 

Picked up a bottle today at WF and it is amazing, no carb issue at all, and at three weeks I actually like it as much as the fresh tap version we had at Kern a few weeks ago.

KD coming in flatter than Arizona's offense with this collab. KRBC draft was ten times the beer the bottled version is.

 

Just cracked my 2nd bottle and it has a 2-3 finger good head , not flat at all

 

I thought 11/06/14 bombers had decent carb. Yes, I have drank 6 in the past 3 weeks and really enjoy this beer. It's my first anything from Kern River.

 

My flat one was bottled 11/12

 

Yea mine with good carb was also bottled 11/6

 

I don't know who made the keg version that made it to NY, but bravo to you. Absolutely fantastic stuff, I wish I could drink it regularly.

 

Just popped open a bottle and it was a little flat. Not much carb.

 

Yeah I had one earlier in the week that was a little flat. Dated 11.12.14. Still tasted amazing. Got to try it on tap the next day and it was perfect.

I'm definitely going to jump on any bottles I find dated 11.6.14.

 

Did this ever pop up in the East Bay? I snagged a bottle when I was down for Thanksgiving (San Diego), but haven't seen it since getting back here. Was great when I had it, and don't remember it being flat.

 

Anchorage-Jolly Pumpkin Calabaza Boreal is spectacular.

I didn't see anyone else mention it, so I guess I will but this stuff is getting released again. Maybe this is to make up for the poor carbonation on the first run. Very much looking forward to trying it again. It was awesome even with the under-carbonation issue.

You loved it and wanted more, so we listened.

We bottled and racked over 90 barrels of the Kern River and Knee Deep Collaboration beer today. This is the very last batch so once it's gone, it's gone.

Going to crack a bottle of the new batch tomorrow night. The ones I had last time weren't flat but could have been a bit better. Hopefully they got the carbonation just right this time.

 

This should be showing up on draft in the LA/OC area next week. Only a few places will be getting it. Bottles? Maybe a few weeks later like the last batch?
