knockoff Thrumometer

    Anybody tried making a knockoff Blichmann Thrumometer with a piece of SS siphon and a stick-on liquid crystal thermometer?

    haven't tried it. but I have never seen a liquid crystal thermometer that is anywhere near as useful as a dial or electronic thermometer. the temperature indicated is at best within a range you can almost detect just by touch. that's my opinion anyway.
