Looking to see if they actually sell this stuff anywhere in Washington or Oregon. I was only able to have it one time when I was up in Edmonton a long while back and the guy at the bar said its hard to find in the USA but if it were there to try the Pacific Northwest region area. Any leads are much appreciated.

I know it used to be here, but can't say if it still is (it's not my kind of beer so I haven't paid attention, don't take this the wrong way).

Not a problem. I was looking to try to get some but if its not available that may be kind of hard to do.

Yeah, I just don't know for certain. I'm sure someone else here will chime in and offer a more definitive answer. If not, I'll have a look next time I'm at a grocery store.

I still see it here in Salem. Not as much as it was though.
I used to drink it in the summer years ago..had some recently and it was horrible.

I thought it had a rather light crisp taste when I drank it. Maybe its changed a bit over the years.

Still reasonably easy to find in the NW at supermarkets and convenience stores. Haven't had one in a long time, but it was a go-to in college; higher ABV but sill cheap, hidden sasquatch on the label. Now I've got to pick up some.

ALL OVER THE FUCKING PLACE! Yup, Trout Beer is a shelf staple around here. I drank sooooooo many on a 1-1/2 hour train ride one time.... Bunch of Northern Cascadians!

It's in most supermarkets in Washington. I don't see it often on-tap, but 6 and 12 pks are easy to track down.

I saw some kind of Kokanee cans available at a bar called Katie O'Brien's here in Portland not long ago. I presume that means it's available on the shelves here, but I don't think I've ever noticed.

I see it on tap sometimes at dive bars, sports bars, and as the "Ironic cheap beer" at scenester bars.

One of my favorite divey yet cool bars in Spokane has often had both standard Kokanee and Kokanee Gold on-tap (though it's been nearly a year since I've been there; I generally go when my college football team gets a game of theirs broadcast in the morning before the closer favorite dive bar of mine opens).

Well, playing home games in an off-campus stadium didn't help. And, at the time, the city wasn't really down with tailgating (technically, they're still not, but they seem to turn a blind eye if you're not being an idiot about it). Combined with Bham's crunchy vibe, puntball wasn't the biggest thing on campus (though, both the mens and womens hoops teams are huge draws), although, high school football is huge around here. Ironically enough, they had just won their championship, and a month later the new President (who is now retiring) nuked football within his first month in office. Shrug. People gonna people.

I looked for it at the local Fred Meyer today. Nada. Surprising since they have a big BMC section. Everything but.
