    Can anyone shed light on the 2012 vintage of BB4D? I heard something about there being a version that was aged for 21 months in barrels but I wasn't sure if there were two different variations for that year.

    Cheers.

    Supposedly the 2012 BB4D bottles released at the 2013 Winter Solstice Party were aged an extra year in barrels, which would be 21 months. 3 bottle limit, $8 each.

    I have 3 and the toughest part is nothing distinguishes the 2 year 2012 BB4D from the original that was released in 2012. No different foil, label or sticker or anything

    Unless someone from Kuhnhenn's actually says this is the case, I am going to assume it was bottled from a keg from the year before, not aged longer. Maybe LiquidTable can comment on it. I would think he would want to set the record straight.

    This was told to a bunch of people at the solstice by Todd

    I dont trust that.

    Did it say it anywhere official? Kuhnhenn's tends to say tell people if there is something special.

    I was there for the event and asked multiple people about it. Not sure where all this groundless skepticism comes from @sarcastro.

    I'm intrigued on finding this out for sure too. I put a dot on top of my 21 month BB4D so I could remember.

    @LiquidTable. Thoughts?

    If you don't understand the skeptism you must clearly be a newbie.
