    Kuhnhenns BBBW is way better...IMO!

I have some in ISO:FT forum. Was looking for King Henry but open to offers since I already traded for some KH.

The BB4D was not distributed at all this year. Brewery only release. The regular 4D made it out but not far

I did a Michigan beer road trip this past weekend from Milwaukee and stopped there. Picked up 2 growlers of Strawberry Panty Dropper, 4 Vintage Ale and 8 BB4D. Expensive stop, but well worth it.

The Beer Baron in Livonia had some Kuhnhenn, but I do not recall seeing any BB4D.

Really bummed about this one, we were able to get a few cases of BA 4D last year but none this year, stores saw Prometheus, 9, Dark Heathen, 4D, and Braggot. I am glad I still have one bottles of last years release hanging out.

This year's BA4D ('11/'12) was not distributed anywhere (so far). Neither was the BBBW. It appears that Kuhnhenns is rotating between these 2 for what is available to buy there. Right now it's BA4D. As far as "packaging"...last year's had the sticker on the neck and the gold foil over the cap. This year's the BA "sticker" is part of the label to the left of the 4D logo, with the gold foil over the cap. Being Kuhnhenns and all, I suspect the foil is more for the employees benefit in identifying and grabbing the right ones to sell. By the way, the same foil is used for both the BA4D and the BBBW...one side is gold and the other silver.

I've been drinking it near nightly this week. It's better than awesome.

Hmmm ... I was tempted when I stopped in on Monday but Road Rash was on tap and I went for that! I wasn't dissappointed! I'll be bringing two bottles of RR for sharing at KBS. The BB4D is staying home ... maybe ... If I can live without it :grinning:

Disagree, but the Kuhnhenn one is definitely better than a lot of other BBBWs.

    Other thoughts: HOMER!

I believe they stopped distributing BB4D this year outside the brew pub. They actually have more available at the brewery right now - I considered buying another sixer to bring with me to GR tomorrow but I'm lazy and dont want to drive another four miles

It is still a fantastic find. I think the regular 4D is unbelievably tasty!

Kind of Off Topic, but someone brought a 2008 vintage (guess I'm not clear if it was bourbon or not, not sure if they even did bourbon barrel back then) to the Better half release. Anyways, it was absolutely awesome, it aged very very well, and convinced me to stash my 2010 and 2011 away for a few years.

Which ones? As Holiday mentioned were they these or something else? Prometheus, 9, Dark Heathen, 4D, and Braggot.
