One of the few top rated BWs I haven't had. I know they just had a release there but not sure what they release for the solstice. When they do release the bbbw what kind of bottle count is it? Of course the other question is what do people want for it?

They released a pretty limited amount of it this year at Winter Solstice, though the rumor was that they might release a larger quantity either in the spring or at Summer Solstice.

I'll be honest in admitting that I have no idea what the trade value on this is, but my understanding is that BBBW comes in 12 oz bottles. Would a 4 pack of BB Plead the Fifth trade for a 4 pack of BBBW?

1 12 oz bottle per person limit this year, and it is currently sold out. I'm hoping they release more, like dbc5 said. 9 bucks per bottle. Previous ISO have gone fairly cold for other years, but who knows, OP. Strike while the coals are hot, and people can still get it on tap.

    Good luck, OP.

I doubt this could get done mainly because of the price disparity (BBBW is twice the price), and then there's the whole problem with the bottle numbers that would be alot higher for BBPt5th. On a brighter note, both are very tasty!:grinning:

I have 2 left from 2011, not sure what the bottle counts were last year, but I know it's a tough commodity to land this year.

I'm planning on sending one to an awesome, regular trading partner, so that should give you an idea of what it takes.

^ This. I wouldn't trade a bottle of mine away for most anything, I will send one off now and again to a solid trading partner or a really generous BA that will definitely appreciate the gesture. Good beer makes it into the hands of good people more often than not.

Great information guys. I appreciate the responses. This one is even more limited than I realized. Maybe I'll put together a nice package of beers and see if I get any bites. If not, of like bierenutz said, I can't be too disappointed about having more BBPtF. Happy Holidays everyone.

Kind of sounds like a 4 of bbpt5 would score 1 kuhnhenn and maybe not even then.

I have a case of BBPt5 but I'd gladly give up a single bottle of BBBW for another 4pk. Alas, I have no BBBW.

You aren't far from Kuhnhenn, just take a trip to Warren and have as many as you want on tap. It's worth the trip.
