I had a feeling that their meads were simply packed into carboy's. A 48 bottle release would correlate perfectly with that.
Place is brilliant - was there about a month back and talking with the cellarmaster (Todd, I believe), he let us drink some BB4D right from the barrel...

Why do I get the feeling that "Confusion" isn't even a beer, but rather just something that's always on Kuhnhenn's work schedule?
I only had got one glass of the Olde Brune at the last winter solstice and thought it was amazingly good... I hope its presence on this list means there'll be more next year (not to mention the raspberry eisbock... exciting!)
