That makes no sense? When the Tigers play in kuhnhenns parking lot I'll pay 36$ for this six pack all day long.

The point is that everyone who goes to a professional sport knows that 10/10 times they will be paying a premium for adult beverages. I don't know why you r bringing the ticket price and parking into this "einstein." I would be there for bb4d bbbw solstice stout or any other beer along those lines as would prob every other Ba and be happy to pay 36$ for 6 of any of them. You are clearly the only person that thinks an IIIPA and sillier are worth the cheese. Cheers.

Nobody is crying that they cost too much people are pointing out that for what they are they are not worth the price. If it was a $20 6 pack I am sure most would still pass on it, has nothing to do with being barrel aged. They just are not that good.

I'm passing on this. DRIPA beats the pants off of TRIPA and Simcoe Sillier isn't worth the price they're asking.

I drove by about 10 minutes ago on the way to my daughters dance class and there were about 12 people in line.

I am not there to witness...but I was looking at nearby nears on Untappd (I live by Kuhnhenn) and someone there just checked into Blueberry Eisbock. Like I said, I am not there so don't take this as gospel truth.

I kind of know that guy. But considering he's the only check in of it I'm guessing no.

Any updates? What was it like? Fun taps?

Both were improved from last year, thicker and heavier. The TRipa weighs in at 12.25% and the Sillier at 12%
Tried em both on tap and the value is there. I'm drinking the trips and the Belgians will be gifts at the holiday.
Is it me or isn't supposed to go "drink" then "judge"??

Far to many superior ipa/dipa to pay $36 a six pack.

I am only playing devil's advocate, not suggesting one buy a $36.00 six pack, but that is an apples to oranges comparison which I will counter with my own apples to oranges comparrsion.

Each Kuhnhenns beer is the alcohol equivalent of 3 All Day's. At 12.5% abv I use wine math. Would you pay $36.00 for three limted bottles of wine form a small niche vineyard?

Those beers are pretty gross. I don't drink beer for abv, rather flavor/taste.

As do I, but it is unfair to compare the pricing of 30 4.5% beers to the pricing on 6 12% bees

    Or > 7 KBS.

Fuck it though, I'll play devil's advocate too: this is equivalent to an $11 Bomber or a $13 750mL. A lot of people don't have much of a problem paying those prices. (I'm not really among them, but hey, I'm just putting it out there.)

Also, I'll say this: I'm much more annoyed by Founder's pricing on their last two backstage beers (Dissenter and BL) than this. Kuhnhenn is still very small; Founders not so much.
