Hey BAs, I'm gonna be in and around new buffalo this coming week and was hoping to find some Kuhnhenn brews. I was wondering what their distro looks like around there and if anyone knows places around there that get the beer. I'll be calling the distributor as well, but figured a local perspective would help also! Thanks in advance for any help!
There is essentially no distro for Kuhnhenn and definitely not going to find any in SW Michigan. May want to look into an IP trade
Kuhnhenn is trying to get a larger production brewery up and running, but until that happens, no bottles get into distro for now. Maybe 2016, but who knows, and even whether it will be enough to get into SW Michigan. If you can go to the brewery, maybe there is something there. Occasionally you'll find their Dripa on tap at good beer bars, and I'll suggest checking out The Buck in St. Joe as the closest possibility.
At the moment, yes. They have distributed some in the past so there might be some out there, but they haven't done that in awhile.
Yes, bottles are released at the brewery only, and even then are usually only available a few days a year.
