Again, no clue on the specifics of batch size (though, I'd love to have this information myself), but I'd imagine that the more controlled limits and smaller volume packaging on the 2007 had something to do with its frequent availability over the course of so many years (via bottle and tap)...and the fact that, at the time, people weren't really on Kuhnhenn's jock the way they are now.

That said, who knows how much of the new KRE batch remains for future bottlings/releases...

    Kuhnhenn. Don't ask "why?".

Hmm.. If I remember correct, there was something like "Margarita Pyment", "Cassis Melomel" and "Double Hopnoxious" at least. Are those ok?

I don't even know how those different styles of meads differ from each other!?

IIRC, Melomel is just mead made w/ fruit and Pyment is specifically mead made w/ grapes. So Melomel is a type/variant of regular mead, and Pyment is a more specific call-out of Melomel.

    Ok, thanks! Sounds clear.

    What is Braggot?

    Are there also other styles?

Braggot is a mixture of beer and mead.

There are a lot more variations of mead, but the most popular ones (and the only ones I know what they are) are Cyzer (apples or apple juice), Metheglin (spices added), and Sack Mead (more honey, usually meaning more alcohol)
