Kuhnhenn Raspberry Eisbock base beer question

    Forgive me if this has been asked before. For Kuhnhenn Raspberry Eisbock, has the "base" beer ever been released before? What I mean has the beer ever been released before it was frozen at the end of the maturation?

    Interesting question. If you check the Kuhnhenn page they have at least quite a few bocks that could be the base in there. All of them are draft-only it seems. I hope someone with more knowledge can answer your question though, I'd like to hear a solid answer.

    I just asked them if they had every released it pre-freezing process and they said no.
