    I have a bottle of this that is about a year old, I wondering if I should crack it, or give it another year?

    I've got one that's a 2012 and still sitting on it. Probably should've opened it by now, but haven't found the right time. I would recommend sitting on it for a little bit longer, but not as long as mine. Don't have any empirical evidence for that though.

    I opened my bottle after just a few years of age and wish I had sat on it longer. Reviews of older bottles are better than fresher ones. I think you're both ok and would definitely recommend the OP wait.
