    Just looked at my black logo glass.....you're right. there is a little etched pattern at the bottom.

    Never noticed that before, either. The black does have an etching in the bottom that are two incomplete circles. This is the best picture I could get:

    I'm not so sure that the black logo glass has some sort of intentional etched pattern on the bottom. Wondering if it's glue markings holding the bowl and stem together. Personally, kind of partial to the black logo 4 oz. tasting glass that was made by mistake a couple years ago and they decided to sell :stuck_out_tongue:

    No it is definitely etching. It is easy to feel. If I could get a good picture of it from the side it is definitely at the "top" of the snifter portion and not near the base.

    anyone have any inside info on when these will show up again? i keep calling them periodically and no dice, although the person i spoke with yesterday said they may be ordering more. can we all keep an eye out and update this thread accordingly? thanks BA!

    I asked about snifters last weekend when I stopped in, they said they had a big order placed, but the glassware was held up overseas somewhere and they have no idea when they might show up

    The staff didn't seem to know anything more than the fact an order had been placed and was in transit, hopefully they bring back the gold foil.

    The new ones look a little different.
    Different shape glass, different take on the logo. Logo seems more full-bodied.

    For the record, I like the sturdiness and heft of the new one.
    And the logo is cool. The older version seemed thin and frail. Never put through dishwasher but it looks it. :slight_frown:
