Has anyone tried one of these lately? I am having my first one since June and it has this very odd soy sauce banana rotten apple taste to it. I know kuhnhenn has issues with bottling but I have never had something from them taste like this.

Send me a bottle and I'll tell you what I think.

Just kidding, wish we got it here

I cracked mine open a month ago and the hops had faded but I definitely didn't pick up any of the off flavors you mentioned. Although the soy sauce and banana combo does intrigue me...

I opened one up about two weeks ago and got none of the off flavors that you mention. Just tropical hoppiness, sweet and sugary alcohol and amazing goodness!

Had one no less than a few weeks ago and thought that it tasted great. There's definitely a fruity sweetness to it, but I've come to expect this from wheatwines.

Thanks for the input, I think I am just going to leave it as this was a bad bottle.

I drank this on cask about a week and a half ago and it was AWESOME. Huge beer. really nice to drink. None of the aforementioned off flavors though...
