    Dont get too discouraged. Unfortunately there will now always be talk of it now as certain events like KBS blow up and no one can plot the increase in popularity of these things. But doesnt mean it will happen. I think your assumptions on what will keep crowds down are correct. Suprising how many beer drinkers in Chicago Metro dont even know Kuhnhenns. First rule of Kuhnhenn Club.... .

    Not too surprising, considering Kuhnhenn does not distribute to Chicago, unlike Founders and Dark Horse.

    http://beeradvocate.com/events/info/57588 shows what the tentative list is, but no word on prices or allocations (do they even do allocations at kuhnhenn events since they seem to be available at the brewery long after the party?)

    They do limits on some of the meads and other stuff like that, but normally the prices alone are enough for people to limit themselves.

    How long was the process between placing an order and having it filled last year?

    Not quite sure what you are getting at here, but if you are trying to call Knifestyles a DB, he is the farthest thing from it

    Good fun or not, no need to call anyone a DB in a public forum. Keep it going though ;0) I would love for this thread to get locked.
