Anyone know if this will be released this winter?

I seem to recall Kuhnhenn responding to a question on FB by saying it'll be released at Winter Solstice. Too lazy to go find it.

This assumes they remember to brew it this year.

Too soon to pre-trade? BBBW for Bourbon County BBW?

    Because it doesn't exist.

Wouldn't BBBW likely be limit 2 at the brewery only? I'd hope to at least find a couple 4 packs of BCBBW at Beinnys... well ok, maybe a 1:4 trade.

I would think a $4$ trade would be reasonable. But I suppose we're still even speculating whether or not the beer will even be brewed this year, let alone how much of it...

    Not necessarily.

The last time that a full batch of BBBW was released (Winter Solstice 2011), there was a pretty generous limit if at all.

In fact, BBBW bottles were still available at the brewery for several weeks after the solstice event.

Remember, people used to actually sleep on this beer. Incredible.

They released this last year and had a 2 or 3 bottle limit. I believe 12oz bottles were $12 each, but drinking 18% beers all day kind of clouds that memory... I wound up with 3 total, but the 3rd may have been in my box by mistake. Look for BA solar eclipse again, prob only 1 pre person at $12 as well.

Negative, you've got the BBBW and Solar Eclipse backwards. BBBW was 1 bottle limit, BA Solar Eclipse was 3 bottles.

    Yes. One bottle limit.

Additionally, it was just the repackaging of the remainder of the 2011 vintage. Not a new batch despite the label's misleading vintage statement.

Thanks, didn't know that. Also, I meant that this year the will release BA solar eclipse again...just aged one more year in the barrel. This one should be a 1 bottle limit. I'm not sure how I got 3 BBBW, but I won't complain ; )

Well, if they were to release it at the Winter Solstice then they would have had to brew it already and have it aging in barrels now. The problem with Kuhnhenn's is that no one other than Brett or Eric ever really seem to know what's has and has not been brewed already. And even then, who knows if they will decide to bottle it in time for the party as well.
