Kuhnhenn's Solstice Stout Reg/BA

    Hey Everyone,

    I had this beer this past weekend and I need to get my hands on more of it. Are both hard to find? I assumed they were hard to get, but my friend was able to get the BA quite easily recently for a sing HF bottle.

    Would it be out of the question to ask for one of each for SITR kumquat?

    My mistake, apparently there is only one version, BA. Would it trade 1:1 or 2:1.

    I don't know much about SITR w/kumquats but Solstice Stout is an amazing beer. My fav of 2014 for sure. Reminds me of Bells BA9k but stronger on he ABV. I have a few left and this might be the one beer in my collection that is not FT for anything. Not that I am saying it has an extremely high trade value. However, personally speaking I couldn't do it. Since it's release I have hardly seen anyone even offer them FT.

    Thanks ckoz. I had to get it over and over last weekend and didn't want it to end, it's unbelievable. After md it's the best beer I've had, but had a friend who traded a reg hf beer for it so I was wondering if that's norm.

    I am sure there are some people out there that would trade one or two for something out of our distro like HF for sure.

    Anyone know how many bottles of Solstice there were?

    I know it was 2 per 4 pack @ $30 a 4 pack ... so $7.50 a bottle. 2:1 on SitR obviously would put SitR way over on $s, but I'm not sure how much or little of Solstice there was.

    I dont think you would find anyone willing to even trade 1 for a sitR...We were only allowed 2 bottles per person

    I think the offer was sitr with kumquat though; that's a very different offer.

    I know...I still dont think he could find it...UNLESS, which is quite possible, people brought mules...sitr with kumquats is a darn good beer..I loved it...

    Guess this is answering my question about how many bottles of solstice stout there were - starting to sound like it was only a couple hundred?

    Feeling lucky I got one of those along with some Michigan Mud.

    yep...Also, I hope your not sitting on that Michigan Mud...It has to be cold or it will taste like spoiled milk

    I mentioned this in the other thread but a lot of people got more than 2 bottles. 2 may have been the limit but plenty of people got back in line. Not that it really matters because people seem to be hanging on to it but still.

    Certainly - I'd assume many people came with significant others, etc. That's why I was curious if anyone had a bottle count.
