I'm hoping someone here can offer a bit of advice. I live in Texas, but have a buddy from L.A. who is coming to visit at the end of the month. I want to ask him to bring me some CA beers I can't get here, but he isn't a "beer guy" and would have no idea which stores would be good to visit to get good craft beers. He lives in Glendale, and works in Burbank, so I'm looking for some recommendations of stores to send him to in those areas that carry good selections of craft beers. The whole foods in glendale, as well as Red carpet wine and spirits, also in glendale both have a good selections. The guy who stocks beer at the glendale whole foods created a facebook profile for their beer. As of Friday he posted these new beers "PLINY the Elder, Blind Pig, Alpine Duet, Hair of the Dog Blue Dot, Cuvee Des Jacobins (phenominal sour!), Epic Brewing Elder Brett/Glutenator/Barleywine, Oskar Blues Deviant Dale's, Haandbryggeriet Dark Force Stout, Stone/Fat head's/Bear Republic, Eel River Earth Thirst, Ballast Point Sea Monster and Panil Barriquee Sour"
