Hi folks. The old lady and a few coworkers are landing in LA this afternoon, and they are looking for eatery recommendations. They want a good tap/bottle selection and an ocean view. Probably something in between Santa Monica and Redondo Beach, given that they'll be staying near LAX. Also, they want to bring some Pliny back, so recommendations on good bottle shops that carry RR would be appreciated. Thanks. Naja's in Redondo, it's on the water but does not have a killer view but definitely has a killer tap list. There is also Select Beer store in Redondo as well as Rock and Brews. Pliny's are not to easy to come by here in LA. Unfortunately it's a you have to be at the right place at the right time kind of thing. Check with Whole Foods in El Segundo and Torrance on PCH.
simmzy's doesnt have an ocean view. The only place i can think of with a true ocean view would be belmont brew co in long beach, probably too far for them to drive.
Thanks for the quick replies! I saw 'a ride up the PCH, Kanan Dume Rd through the canyon, and ending at Ladyface' is a good scenic trip, though lengthy. Floated that idea to them, and I'll continue to monitor the great ideas that you're dropping here.
They ended up going to Naja's, currently. I received rave reviews about their tap list. I'm jealous... Sipping a BCBS to ease my pain.
