LA Beer Week 2015

Anyone know if a beer list for the main festival is posted anywhere in internetland yet?

 

I have an extra Saturday VIP ticket if anyone is interested.

I'll be spending most my time at HPB. shits going to go off with bottle releases.

 

My schedule now is kind of like: Modern Times at Blue Palms Monday, HPB/Hermosillo Tuesday, Hermosillo Wednesday, Beer Belly Friday, Ballast Point at Blue Palms Saturday...

 

So far this is the only information I have found about what is being poured is:

Smog City

• Cuddlebug (peach apricot SOUR)
• Infinite Wishes
• Kumquat Saison
• Little Bo Pils as a refreshing palate cleanser!
• Plus UNITY (tart saison) at the Unity table!

Hopefully someone will publish the full list soon.

 

Ticket still available? Also, I am very interested in the cellarmaker takeover at Beachwood BBQ LB on Wednesday. Heard SARA was joining them with some taps.

 

I hope the rumor becomes a reality.

I'm getting off work early Weds to hit up BW's Cellermaker & others. But wondering if I should stop by Naja's first for the Brewers Guild meet up before heading to BWLB?

 

Looks like they will be using glassware again this year for the kick off

 

I am not really sure I can go to any of the other events outside the festival. My parents are coming into town all week, it is my sister's first time in LA. I will be entertaining them the entire time after I get off work.

But I will be at the kickoff hanging out in the VIP section.

 

She would love it. She is a big fan of a lot of the Chicago breweries. My dad quit drinking about 10 years ago and my mom isn't in the best health. If it was just me and my wife and sister we would be doing the bar tour of LA. With my parents though, it ends up being sit on the beach, or go to a museum type of activities. I probably can convince them to go to one of the places that serves food for a meal though.

 

She looks like I do, very tall, very broad, very Scottish. And she doesn't play for the appropriate team for it to be offensive.

LA Beer scene appears to be exploding. I'm going to try to make it next year. I went to the SF Beer Week Opening Event this year. Great way to the check out a lot of the local beers.

I look forward to hearing how the opening event goes this Saturday...Wait, I just checked the list of breweries. Didn't appear to be a lot of LA breweries? I'm missing something...
