Peche n Brett was $35 also, unless I got undercharged! I thought the prices on all the bottles were fair.

    Thanks for the correction, @cquiroga!

Bob said those boxes were empty. Someone tipped it to try and they were definitely empty :grinning:

Stoked that my friends were there in time to grab a Kriek, and a 2012 and 2013 Gueuze. And triple-stoked that I got to try some of @3SH33TS 's Mattina Rosa bottle, I had almost bought one earlier in the evening.

Yeah, even fresh it still isn't as coffee forward as I was hoping, but it is a damn fine imperial stout.

I think I have a spare if you don't end up with one from the brewery.

Had a great time...got there about 30 minutes before 6 and got a table right away. Place didn't really get packed until 730ish. Bar looked pretty damn busy though. Only bummer was the glassware for the expensive sours...crappy taster glasses.

Make sure to grab a pint of Citraholic and Pablo Escobeer. The hoppy saison was just ok...tasted a little simple considering all the interesting hops they added. The new Alpha session IPA was not very good...tasted off.

According to the hopcam, there are still some beers on from Cellarmaker...Dank Side of the Moon and Mo Passion are both great. And don't miss out on the black IPA with coconut from Monkey Paw...seriously good.

Society tonight. A lot of great beers will be pouring again. I personally like Societe IPAs more than the one I got to taste last night, DsotM. M&C tapped out just before I was going to order it. Crazy night. I saw the hop cam this morning. I think it hasn't been updated. All of the Cellermaker brews were gone by 8. For those who haven't had Societe's beers or only a couple......go. I'm fortunate I live a couple of block from BTs BBq in HB which always has a Societe beer on tap. Plus I make my Societe stop 4 or 5 times a year.

There is a sculpin variant night next Tuesday at Tony's Darts Away. Pineapple will be on apparently.

Mango sculpin was okay, just a little boring. Pineapple was solid. Not as much fruit forward as most of the bottles of Grapefruit Sculpin, but a nice twist on the original with a bit of Pineapple.

I think pineapple sculpin is a tap exclusive variant at the moment , I'm hoping they will have it at their brewery if I miss out during all these LA beer week events

Agreed. I enjoyed it a whole lot.

And those flutes last night at Beachwood were kind of terrible. Certain beers tasted totally different when they were poured into other glasses. So weird.
