I was at one of my distributors this week and in the wine cellar were a couple bottles of La Folie that they gave to me.

I'm not sure of the vintage but it looks like a 04. The 4 could be a 9 but I think the 09 was a different bottle. Anyone have any insight on the different vintages?

I will open one at DLD and the other I plan on trading. What world do these live in? It's been a while since I drank one...

props for effective humblebrag with the background bottles.

can't help you with that number though. I'd say a 4. the '09 was still C&C'd.

I think '09 was both. Early in the year was corked and caged, but when I visited the brewery in June, it was capped bombers.

Nice! Wish I could be more helpful but that's all I could muster up.

Is it wrong that I just got a b(eer)oner? Seriously though... that's pretty cool, especially since someone gave it to you.

Exactly this. 2009 was C&C early and then switched to bombers. Anything 2008 and earlier was C&C. Anything 2010 to current is capped.
