According to the BA review page for it:

    http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/192/1917

It is a year round beer. I thought it was seasonal since it isnt the easiest beer to make.

Did this just change or is it a typo on the page?

They did just expand their sour program which may make it available beyond a single release but that capacity shouldn't be available for a few years. I think it may be mislabeled.

Since 2010 I think they do one bottling for the year.

While it may be bottled once a year at the price it stays on shelves all year. Maybe that is where the confusion comes in.

The last time it was local, it was +$14 a bottle and I passed on it, like others. Corked and Caged 750s were $16 and I'd grab them up like there was no tomorrow.

It's year round here, since there is still plenty sitting on the shelves in stores (@ $14.99 a bottle)

Its really good, don't get me wrong, and I bought 2, but there are also a lot of other sours that are less, so I won't buy it regularly at that price. I think the $ is why it has sat on the shelves so long, at this point

Its probably closer to rotating or seasonal.

It sold out in my market in a few days at 12.99.

Check out Rodenbach Grand Cru if you can get it. Cheaper and comparable taste

My understanding is that it is bottled once a year but they don't sell all of it at once. Most distributors and stores only order it when it is first bottled though.
