Going to be in La area at the following address
900 W. Olympic Blvd City. I won't be able to travel to far from the JW Marriott so are there any good beer bars or stores in that general area. Thanks for any input.

your best bet is to head towards downtown, far bar & barbara's at the brewery are great places. if you're looking for bottles, ramirez liquor is a little further but always hooks it up. cheers!

Spring Street Bar usually has a couple decent brews...

    Escondite usually does as well...

If you can make it to Echo Park (~ 5 miles away)... cab fare shouldn't run too much, maybe a tenner each way... Mohawk is worth it if you are into Cali IPAs...

55 Degrees and Verdugo are outside of your travel range, I reckon.

I'm actually in LA right now too and was mildly curious if Russian River is being carried in any bottle shops? I found Pliny on tap at Surly Goat, but no luck on bottles so far. I'm staying in the Silver Lake area.

Bill's in Atwater is close by and usually has RR. Atwater is also a fun little neighborhood these days. Grab a steak n potato burrito across from Bill's at tacos villa corona or some baked goods at proof or the village.

I also suggest you take the expo line to culver city-- the father's office there is a short walk from the train station. I know it gets its criticism but every time Ive been to FO (either SaMo or this one, which I do prefer since its larger) Ive always found the food to be great (the burger is fine the way it is) and the bartenders to be friendly

being downtown gives you the chance to go to places downtown and take the train out to farther destinations. Another good idea is going out to Long Beach via the blue line where you have congregation and beachwood bbq and brewing or the gold line to pasadena

If you want to expo line or cab it Steingarten LA has an awesome list and crazy bottle list. They just revamped the bottle list and have Cantillon & many other cool items.
