My work is right near there too, haven't even heard of it.

I went. Just like @elzacharino said, nothing to wire home about. Just really needed a beer Monday on my lunch. Cismontane has a Santa Ana location even closer to me, but I've never been a fan. Network had a double on that was pretty tasty, hostile work environment, that was good. The others were nothing special.

Back from vacation and just checked TapHunter and they have Societe the Pupil on along with Gunwhale Bait Ball and looks like a new one from RiiP. I will check in today.

It was rad seeing Carlos and 3SH33TS at Glendale Tap yesterday. Bummed I missed out on Wild Pink Robots but am really happy with the Citrasmella Ryan spontaneously handed off to me.

Went to Mikkeller in DTLA yesterday and they had 2016 Hunahpu on tap, it tasted mighty fine.

I get that it is an awful price. But isn't Mikkeler always expensive, and this is something we never get here, so I can see splurging a little. I mean the Bruery charges $8-9 for a 5 oz pour of Black Tuesday, and it is brewed there.

Come to think of it, how much per oz is Hunahpu if I have to add shipping costs. Plus the cost of an extra.

Yeah you're right I should just go down to my local 7-11 and pick up a bottle.

News alert people: Rare beers in DTLA cost money.

Yes they are. Average price on anything is a dollar per ounce.

No comparison to BT. BT is barrel aged and 20%.

I was hemming and hawing over $12 for 6 oz. but I figured there might not be another chance for me to try it so why the heck not?

I fly free so I guess paying for it at the source is much cheaper I suppose lol.

That beer isn't that rare. At least some nerd you know has it stored in his closet with his real doll waiting for the right moment to share it. Just ask.

You want rare, find me Zima and I'll pay YOU!

Nope, I cringe at Napa tasting prices of $30, let alone $100 a bottle.
