I am looking for an in-expensive easy to use lable for my bottles. I would like to use something that you can do a little design with, and comes off the bottle easily. Thanks!

Some homebrew shops carry a pack of 8.5x11 inch sheets (maybe 15 sheets?) that have a dry glue on the back that sticks on with water. It comes in a few colors, but white is the one that I use so that I can use colors when I design a label. I just use MS Paint to do my designs, and then I have put 4 and sometimes 6 labels per sheet. After printing on an ink-jet printer all you have to do it cut the labels apart. Caution, when wetting the back of the label, just drag the label over a wet sponge or paper towel, and keep your fingers as dry as you can. Too much water will cause the ink to run. These labels will fall off the bottle in a minute when in a water soak.

Another caution: make sure you don't try to print on the sticky side of the paper. Your printer will not like that, and you've just wasted a sheet of paper. It is VERY difficult to tell which side has the glue, so be careful.

I've had excellent results with a simple glue stick and cardstock paper. I do four 4.5" x 3" labels per page. A laserjet printer is a +++ if available. Ink doesn't run.
