Labor Day Weekend 2016 Beers?

Growlers from 2 locals Trap Rock and Twin Elephant. Not sure what beers it depends on what they have at the time.

 

Where in Maine? In Boston, go to Trillium. If you're in Portland, go to Bissell Brothers and Foundation (not next door to each other anymore, but still close).

 

I’m only going to the beach for two days, so I got a local session IPA called Trophy Wife (Trophy is the brewery). Just one six pack.

Gonna hit up Northwest Food Mart here in town and see what they have. Got a Very Hazy bomber that I'm gonna probably kill on Friday.

 

Going to be at Deer Isle in Maine. Not sure what that is near. Never been to the east coast.

 

Just secured a 5gal of Lost Nation Gose. Likely some Almanac and maybe some Cantillon or Westy if my buddy who's coming up from NC feels generous.

 

I'm going to start the weekend with FBS (hopefully, but if not VaS) along with EPL football, and college football. Then I will move on to some new brews, pumpkin brews, and some of the wet hop beers that are coming out now. If none of that comes to fruition, then I'll just enjoy Boulevard single wide and the calling, and plant my ass firmly in front of the tv!

Jay-zus, that's way out there. Should be beautiful, though. Nowhere close to Portland - probably as close to Portland as Portland is to Boston.

If you're driving up, though, you'll go through Portland. Stop and pick up whatever Bissell and Foundation have, if you go through while they're open. Allagash is right there, too.

Or, hell, just load up on Trillium and Night Shift while you're in Boston and drink that. Trillium's cans are at a case limit, so you should be able to get a buttload from the brewery.

 

Gonna rock my Trillium cans at the BBQ and my buddy is gonna hook me up with some Focal Banger and Crusher (have not had either) to take home. Woot!

 

I'm looking forward to drinking marzens this weekend. I may even grill some brats to eat with them. I'm still looking for the Sam Adams fall pack too

A mix of Hofbrau and Sierra Nevada Oktoberfests on Saturday and Monday. On Sunday, I'll be drinking whatever is being sold at the Sabbath concert.

I plan to snag some Sierra Nevada Summerfest, I think know where I can find it. Perfect way to finish out the summer. I'll probably have some Arcadia Whitsun also.

 

My wife is going out of town and I am staying behind. I have a fridge full of beer to get me through the weekend but the one beer I am super excited about is my Huna that @tgates sent me. Plan on sitting outside, lighting a fire, smoking a cigar while listening to Dave Matthews and enjoying my #1 want.
