Lager as an extreme beer?

I was at Prost about 4 years ago,bthe beers were spot on, and I am a guy who gets to Germany fairly often. Then the Brewers left for reasons I am not aware of, and some on the Mountain forum said the beers were not so good for a while. A new Brewer is said to be making good beers again, as you tasted.

Next time in Denver I will go to the Bierstadt Lagerhaus and try the German beers from Bill Eye and Ashley Carter, the original Brewers at Prost.
