I'm brewing Brewer's Best Continental Pilsner tomorrow. The directions say it can be fermented at ale temperatures (I dont have a fridge to keep it below 60 F). Someone gave me the kit, but the lager yeast is old I think.
What type of lager yeast can I use at ale temperatures ( I can keep it below 66 F)?
I was thinking of Saflager S-23 for dry yeast. Is there a White Labs lager yeast that will ferment at ale temps?

A number of folks have reported they achieved good results brewing lagers with Wyeast 2124 at warm (60's) temperatures.

    Cheers!

    34/70 would be my choice.
