I think I may like Extra better than Sucks.

Are the Sucks 32 oz'ers distroed in NY? I'd be surprised to see it on a shelf, but maybe I'm not looking in the right places

I'm in the NYC/LI area and anytime I've seen the 32ozers they've been a few months old, if not, even older than that.

Got a six pack of Extra here in Baltimore. Have not seen the 32ozers of Sucks ever though.

Extra just landed with a date of 162, how does it take 50 days to get a beer from Chicago to Philadelphia?

Still waiting here in Michigan.... I'm seriously considering buying some off the internet at this point. I sent lagunitas an email last week and got no response.

it was being sold for the same price as regular Sumpin' Spumpin and I still passed. I can't get the taste of disappointment out of my mouth since this years sucks was held back 2 months and tasted not so good right off the truck.

The Sucks quarts finally showed up in Colorado, and they're awesome.

I prefer Sucks over Sumpin Extra, but that's just me.

Does anyone know if they've brewed another batch of Sumpin Extra? I"ve only seen the 169 bottles. I am praying they didn't just brew one batch!

Edit: I see that there was a 162 batch as well. Anyone seen anything more recent?

I got a six pack with the 162 date...tasted pretty good...but wonder what it would be like a bit more fresh. I too thought Sucks was sad this year...over two months old and was a bit too sweet. I got a hold of a six of Flower Power that was only bottled on 7/21 and it is was delicious.

I have a 192 batch of LSE. There is a 2 instead of a 1 at the end of the first line of code, I think that means it's from Chicago.

Thought I was crazy...the last 2 quarts of Sucks I've bought were both considerably tooo sweet and not enough hop bitterness to balance.

And I LOVE sucks, a LOT, but the last 2 quarts I've gotten have been disappointing.

The Westcoast has been shit on by lagunitas freshness recently. I've only seen old sucks all year long at every bottle shopand on tap. The Sumpin Extra sat in the warehouses and we got it "fresh" being a month old and everyone has the new Imperial Red in the east coast and we're still sitting in the April batches of Night Time.

    Wuhh????

I picked up a batch of 199 Sumpin' Extra a week or so ago and saw a 203 batch at my local grocery store yesterday.

You guys are crazy to say Sumpin Extra > Sucks...

Something odd I noticed about Sumpin Extra is that it became more delicious after it warmed up. Right out of the fridge seemed too chilled and must have muted a LOT of the flavors.

    I agree.

I bought a case of Sumpin Extra (160 batch, drinking one now) and have gone through over half of it in the past couple weeks. While it has grown on me, I was expecting to love it but am still pretty underwhelmed. Doesn't measure up to the other IPAs I've been drinking a lot of lately such as Troegs Perpetual, Headhunter, Ithaca Flower Power, Ruination, Columbus IPA.

It took me a long time to get into Lagunitas' hoppy beers...I thought they were all too sweet and malty. Then for a couple years I really dug them. Lately I'm reverting back to my initial opinion.
