Lagunitas 2020 Willettized Coffee Stout?

I'll say no since the last 3 years it came out in Nov/Dec...but I dont know for sure.. Lagunitas needs a better release calendar. I'm hoping gnarlywine will drop this fall.

 

I was going to say that I don't even think they even announced their next "one hitter" yet (born yesterday pale ale) but I just checked their IG and just announced it 10 minutes ago.

I wouldnt expect to hear anything about high westified/willetized/or whatever they go with this year until November-ish.

High Westfield 2016 and willetized 2019 were 2 of the best values ever imo. I didnt like willetized 2017 as much and passed on the 2018 bombers.

Im also looking forward to what comes out this year.

I saw that "Hittin shelves soon" to for the willitized and it seemed early...then it was gone a day or 2 later so must have been an error

 

I sure hope so..not sure why they still have Waldos listed on the one hitter page and not willitized!?

Seems like they usually list all the one hitters to be released in a year in that page..however, times are a different.

 

The 2017 High Westified was such a steal. 6 pack Imperial stout cost me $12.99. I should have bought more than a 12 pack of that beer. It was so very good and I hope to see it out again.

 

If I had known High-Westified was not going to be released anymore, I would have stocked up big time, but when I found out, it was too late, people beat me to the punch, and it was completely sold out and 4 of the bottle shops I frequent.

It was so good, and an even better value. Best of both worlds.

 

Unfortunately, you'll likely NEVER see High Westified again due to Constellation (which owns/owned Ballast Point) owning High West, which is why they had to change over to Willet Barrels(an improvement imo). I've had some older bottles of this beer that I've found in the wild and it's still very great so happy hunting.

No, lots of good opinions on the 2016+ High Westified, but actually, it paled, in comparison to the my #5 ALL TIME BEER the 2015 bomber High Westified, and if I remember correctly (it's reviewed, look it up) an coffee, rye, chocolate, exquisite, bomb. So good, I bought it again (by the expensive) case in 2016, if you consider 12 bottles for $120 expensive, meh. Lagunitas is an interesting brewery, they know when the beer should be priced in bombers. Example, the 2018 Willetized, I was1/2 thru the first $12 bomber it was so good (my number 7 all time beer) that I ran to the store to get the $120 case sitting on the shelf, my birthday weekend 2018. Point is, hte next year, last year, it was 1/2 the price in 4 pakes, I got alot, it was very good, but NOT the 2015 or 2018 perfection. See, I'd MUCH rather pay $10-12 an bomber for perfection then 1.2 the price 4 or 6 paks. What makes Laguntis, along with Founders, the number one, or two, brewery in the worls today. STFU. that's my tag, now. lmao.

 

I signed up for the email list to find out about Waldos’ earlier this year. Willettized was on both the August and 9/21 emails, along with Sucks and Born Yesterday. The latter two are now on the website. Willettized is coming out in 2020.

The logo was the same (all black with gold and white typefaces) as last year’s redesign for 4 pack release. I’m guessing that means it’s coming out in 4 packs again.

I’m really looking forward to BY, Sucks, and Willettized.

 

100% Agree.......I bought a case for $96 and had the option to buy another buy I didn’t. So good. I still have 2-3. The six packs were also stellar. The willet was not close but still a good beer for the $.

Hit up 6 bottle shops last night. Tried a couple grocery stores this morning.

No-go. Wish that High-Westified was still around, but I can't find it in these parts, and not going to hunt for it anymore.

PS: Ditto for Founders Imperial Stout and Oskar Blues Barrel Aged Ten Fidy. Simply not available around here.

 

Since Sonomica and Willittized share a UPC my guess is that they'll push it out once Sonomica starts to dry up at distributors.

 

I emailed them directly asking about this last month. The response: "Keep your eyes peeled this November "
