Weird ... everything I read = planned opening date 2017 ... since when does a brewery actually open EARLY??? NEVER!!! :stuck_out_tongue::grinning:

Being Lagunitas, I was wondering why they wouldn't hold the party one day later. Then quickly realized why they obviously would.

I was somewhere and overheard a lagunitas rep talking about this. I believe this will just be a tasting room to start or maybe some outdoor event area with no actual brewing going on for now and then the brewery will come down the road, probably another year. When it is done this is supposed to be their biggest production facility.

The plans for it were insane looking! And it's only 20 minutes away! So happy!

And close to either the Irwindale or Downtown Azusa gold line stations.

That would be really cool if they kept a shuttle going to that Azusa stop once they're open for good. An on the hour or every half hour shuttle would be awesome.

Exactly. The amount of ubers going to/from the gold line station would just be silly.

I think the cop would have fun attempting to write up that ticket/report.

Probably? A wheelchair bound friend of mine got a DUI rolling down the sidewalk once in college. Pretty much anything with wheels falls under the vehicle code.

Wow. Public intoxication, sure. Fucking DUI? Unbelievable. I actually am having a hard time believing this.

There were a lot of BUI's (bicycles) issued when I was in college at UCSB, which I don't believe is as severe as DUI but still pretty bad. http://www.shouselaw.com/cycling-biking-under-influence.html

Maybe hoverboards would be less severe than a BUI? Not sure.

Go Gauchos! Yea, while I was there we were warned to not ride your bike after a party (or to walk around with your cup upright) because a BUI was the same as DUI. I can't believe a wheelchair would be the same though (ADA?).

A google search will show you evidence and stories of plenty of past instances where this occurred: http://bfy.tw/5Efw
In any event, my friend had his case dismissed because everybody else other than the officer that booked him was cool and not a total dickhead. Others around the country, not so lucky.
