So that means it'll hit shelves outside of California around 20-25th.

Last week Colorado got it a full week late. A FULL WEEK OLD. I can't drink an IPA that's that old.

Wish there was better distribution of Lagunitas here. Utah might have a better distro, and that is sure as fuck not saying much.

    Cheers!

Same with IL. Some places didn't get it until a week after last year's supposed delivery date. I'm not bitching about freshness at all, just saying it's annoying to read it will be "out" on that date except when it's not. Most of my go-to place got a tiny allotment last year, and sold out very quickly.

Will be nice to compare this with Founder's Harvest Ale. I'm sure the Born Yesterday will be right up there with

I picked this guy up today 15 miles from the brewery in Petaluma. It is sort of false advertising to call it Born Yesterday, though, as the bottling date on this beauty is 10/17...

The label for this year says "unfiltered". That and the citra/mosaic/simcoe hop bill makes me think this is Lagunitas' shot at a mass-market NE IPA.

Def enjoy this batch over last years, closer to year 1. Think the nose on this year's is the best yet. If memory serves the ABV was 7.5 in year 1 and 6.5 in year 2, with year 3 at 7.0.

But, but, but,... look at the photograph!! This beer is not a murky/turbid beer!!

    Cheers!

No, it's not really turbid, just kind of opaque. It looks like Enjoy By Unfiltered.

I thought Born Yesterday blew Harvest Ale out of the water last year
