No it's not. I have both and born again kicks ass.

Only disappointing if compared to the Born Yesterday. It costs a fraction of the EB though.

Never had Born Yesterday and I'm disappointed as I always am with Lagunitas. Only beer worth a try is Waldo.

Finally had Born Again and think it is a weak imitation of Born Yesterday. Glad I did not buy a 12 pack.

I had both on draft the other night. I preferred Born Again Yesterday by a little. Both were very good.

I find it odd I can get other Lagunitas labels just a few weeks after bottling but no local stocks Enjoy By.

It's as old as late march to mid April as far as bottle dates. Why are people forgetting that fact. You all are basically judging this now 80-120 day old IPA on the same merits as when born yesterday releases nationwide within 11 days to 85% of its accounts.

Not fair yet I do agree with how it's mediocre in its current state. I had some last week and it's a stale hop swamp sort of non fresh flavor. Total shell of its former self.

Just keep those dates in mind people.

I was in a local store last week that hardly got any on the first run and they had just got in like 4 cases. I've had my fill and didn't bother to decode the date, but I'm sure it's later than the ones I had before. Even if they were from 4/20, that's only two months and it's not like it turns to piss 10 days out. Until after I drink it.

I still see it around here. Lags should have put it in six packs and I might have picked up one. I didn't want to pick up a 12 pack when it is fresh and less so now.

I grabbed a 12 pack and thought that it was fantastic. It came and was gone. I was lucky to find it.

There seems to have been numerous bottling runs. The last one I bought was dated 141 17 (May 21, 2017) so it's a little over a month old at this point and still drinking nicely.
Others have reported in this thread they have a June 2017 bottled on date (153 17). I'd love to see this on constant rotation with new batches every couple of months.

I'd be good with that. They did say on the bottle "If you like it let us know, we'll make more". I should take a minute and do that.
