OMG, I have no idea what everyone is complaining about. I never had it before and had one on tap last night and it blew me away. It was by far and away the best Lagunitas beer I have tried. It was not sweet or any of the things people were complaining about. I liked the blood orange influence and it was a very nice overall balanced pale ale. I would rank it up there with any of the Sculpins and Zombie Dust.

Grossest thing I've had this year so far. Just nasty. Rotten citrus on top of bitter orange peel. I generally consider that people have different palates when I don't like a beer but I find it hard to understand that this one is likeable by anyone.

Hey, I mean sometimes a one hitter really takes two hits, you know if it's packed real tight. Just saying. Hit it how you want to

The beer is "meh", as in not terrible but not great. Nice effort, don't worry you aren't pretentious.

    Worried.

Go buy yourself some CitruSinenis, you'll love it.

Saw it today at a local grocery store. Priced a $9. Wanted to find a single bottle before committing to the six pack. Even with the mixed reviews, I'm definitely returning in morning to get the sixer.

Yep not as good as last year...I sold a few bottles to my friend and he wants his money back. Lol.

I found the same thing- I didn't find this beer to be very hoppy or bitter. (I see 40 Ibu's listed on the bottle) I did enjoy it but found it to be a little disjointed and didn't have that hop punch I was expecting from a Lagunitas hop forward beer.

Throwing my two cents in here.

I never had last years. I bought two sixers a couple weeks back. I put it right around a 4/5, which by todays standards of IPAs and APAs, is a touch above "par".

I thought it had a nice bright tart citrus element (sometimes when Sucks is fresh, I get that same sort of bright flavor). This felt like Sucks in a way. All Lagunitas hoppy beers seem to have the same sort of malt/yeasty flavor profile. The 8% abv was never really felt imho.. Really good, but almost forgetable and not quite worth seeking out (if that makes sense for a 4/5 beer). Tart, somewhat sweet. Never really hoppy in aroma or flavors

I found it at Whole Foods last week.
