It was available at some Jewel stores last year. Haven't checked yet.

 

My local Jewel got the Born Yesterday, so I'm hoping they get this as well. I've been checking the last couple of days and have not seen it yet.

 

Chicago folks, Edgewater Whole Foods just got their shipment. The beer guy can grab you a sixer from the back. $12.99. Cheers!

 

From where are you getting this price information you are sharing, considering the LA TW stores haven't received any in stock yet, and the listed price on the TW website for LA area stores is $14.99?

 

Incorrect; it's $14.99 and currently available in the River Edge and Essex Green stores. From where did you see or hear $19.99?

 

It was listed as $19.99 for several days on TW's website before being lowered to $14.99 today.

 

OK. I was thinking that may have been the case. Thank you for clarifying. Good news is, actual price with product in stock is lower .

 

Does Total Wine vary their prices by region, or is the $14.99 an across the board price? I haven't seen this beer at Total Wine in my region (NoVA), but it's been two or three dollars cheaper than that at Whole Foods and a couple of independent stores who did get it.

 

Prices can vary by market based on the cost from the local wholesaler, which can be quite different from one wholesaler to another. Not sure the status of this brew in the NoVA stores. I am inquiring. Appears the wholesaler isn't being straight with info on this one.

 

Word is next week.

 

It arrived today. It is the Jewel on Schiller in Elmhurst. They had a stack of at least 5 cases by the east end of one of the beer aisles. $12.99 per 6 pack, I grabbed two, so lots left.

I'm looking forward to trying it.

 

Scored a 6 pack at binny's in Plainfield, IL a few hours ago for $11.99 limit of one. I would call before going in, they said that they only have a few left stashed in the back. Two other binny's sold out in 2 hours on Wednesday from what I was told today.

 

I put my local guy on high alert today so when he sees it's available from the distributor he knows to buy as much as he can. I committed to three six-packs.

 

any Milwaukee sightings ?

 

I was limited to purchase 2 bottles at Naperville Binnys. There were probably good other 10-12 bottles left on one of those barrels. I was tempted to take my dad to buy another 2 bottles for me, but I considered about the others to get their hands on those bottles.

 

If it is in 6 packs nationwide, then why so limited? Why only 1-2 cases per store? Doesn't make sense. I'm guessing there will be more drops of this and it will be everywhere by mid month.

 

Found an additional 6 pack at a regular local liquor store for $13.99, I'm done.

 

Was fortunate enough to be able to purchase two six packs here in Ann Arbor, at $12.99 per. Not sure how much is left at that particular establishment, I got the last two out of the cooler, but there may be more in the back.
