Lagunitas in Indiana

chicago brewery just started production about a month ago. if the distributors here would get there heads out of their asses, maybe we could finally get some. i picked up a 6'er of sumpin' sumpin' in ohio last week for $9. pretty sure that have to drive that through IN to get to OH. sorry, that didn't answer your question.

 

It's draft only for probably the first six weeks or so, according to my rep. Also, I believe the IPA is the only thing available at the moment.

 

Jfc, tell them we need cases of the sucks quarts stat. The ipa is good but come on we need more fuel on the fire.

 

Well it's Cavalier so I'd say get used to out of stocks ala Founders

 

Undercover Shut Down and a couple of other Lagunitas beers have been on tap around Fort Wayne.

 

I have seen plenty of bottles in Northwest Indiana.

 

Can't wait for this to be $2 bucks more expensive per six pack than anywhere else in the country.

 

I have been drinking it for the past few weeks in Fort Wayne. Lil sumpin sumpin, lil sumpin extra, nighttime, hop stoopid. I love it.

And don't you still get Great Lakes? Even though Cavalier supposedly covers the "entire" state I think someone else is covering NE Indiana. It's dumb, just like how DFH is available in the region but and has been since December but Indy can't get a sniff.

 

Pint Room had 3 Lagunitas beers on tap last week....good to see them popping up here in Indy.

 

You can definitely get Great Lakes stuff in South Bend/Granger area....

 

The worst part is that Lagunitas kegs are supposed to be on premise only, so I can't buy them to sell until bottles hit. dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

 

yeah that's really stupid....not sure what the hell they are doing.

 

Plenty of Lagunitas has been available in OH for a few years now, but we still haven't seen any of the Sucks quarts. At least I haven't seen any in the Cleveland area. I can't wait for the day that it hits shelves.

 

As a trade off, the import situation in NWI is non existant. I have seen actual imports in Indy.

 

don't get me started. i was in the cleveland area last week and i almost started crying when i saw knee deep bombers on the shelf for $8.

 

+1 on the pricing. Stoopid will probably be like $7.49 and the 6 packs like $11.49. Glad they're hear though.

 

Yeah, Indiana Beverage has had Lagunitas and has DFH, but they only operate in Northern Indiana. Central Indiana is waiting on the 60 day (as I heard it) window of on site only for Lagunitas. As far as NWI imports, I know Starlight makes a few stops up there....should be getting a little better.
