I'm drinking a Lagunitas IPA right now. Poured from a 650 ml bottle into an IPA glass.

I'm picking up something in the nose and taste that I can't quite place. Does anyone else get an almost "ginger ale" and lemony note in the nose and taste? I'm not sure that's it but...

More malt forward than I was expecting but I'm not disappointed. Well balanced IPA.

Sounds old to me, is there any bottle code printed on the neck? Lagunitas hasn't packaged IPA in bombers for years to my knowledge. I can buy it year round in 6 packs at 1-2 months from packaging on any given week. Tastes like bright citrus to me every time. One of my regular rotation IPAs.

I can't fnd any date or best before on the bottle.

I'm in Canada so I'm under no illusion that the stuff we get is the freshest :-).

Still pretty good beer. I just can't identify what I'm picking out.

I've never even seen a Lagunitas IPA Bomber :astonished: and it's probably my least favorite Lagunitas beer as it is. Super malty for an IPA.

    That's probably not good mang.

I see IPA bombers in the bay area all the time. There is always a date code on the neck.
