Word, well I'm pretty close to the team who handles our quality assurance and I know its super important to us. I hope you do get to try some of the fresh stuff and do take a peak at the neck of our bottles (in the light) maybe it will help next time!!! Feel free to hit us up just because always nice to mumble with a fellow beerdo!!

I'm not going to email about it, but if you think of it, next time your at work, tell your peeps to get a bottledate that you don't need to decode going. If you would. Good beer though.

I live in Sacramento and love Lagunitas beers. That said it is a challenge to get fresh beer. My wife just bought me a sucks for valentines day from Bel Aire. The beer is 4 months and 4 days old. This is not acceptable to me. The flavor is ok but I know how it should taste and it now has that older sweeter smell flavor. I have had similar issues with six packs of Sumpin Sumpin and I literally refuse to drink it when it has aged. It is also one of my favorites when it is fresh. I can understand running into old beer in obscure liquor stores where the stuff doesn't sell fast. In a grocery store only 81 miles from the brewery why is my beer 4 months old?

I'm a big fan as well. But instead of their IPA, I personally think they phoned it in on their pilsner.
