I was worried I might be the only one to recognize the dope reference. And Yeah, to the guy that said it's different drug, Dope is different, most definitely. I like to call weed dope, though. It is, after all, loaded with dopamine. Weed's not a weed, it's a wildflower.

Only ones I have got to try are the High West-ified, and that Blood Orange Pale Ale. I love High West-ifed (best new beer of 2015 for me), and thought the Blood Orange Pale Ale was really awesome.

The prices for Lagunitas are so insanely good for the quality you receive.

Hope I can find some of that Apple Ale on tap somewhere.

Not as crazy about Citrusinesis as I thought I would be...pretty solid though. Gotta say I enjoyed Duclaw's Blood Orange Gypsy more. But I'm a huge Lagunitas fan and all the beers I've tried from the One hitter series gave been good to great, my favorite being the rye cocoa porter.

I opened my bottle of High Westified yesterday and really enjoyed it. Thought it was on par with Parabola and maybe a bit of a nicer finish with the barrel-Aging

I wonder if Citrusinensis is going to make it to NY. It sounds very good, but I have not seen it thus far. I guess I'll keep an eye out and hope for the best.

While consumption can indeed release some dopamine, it is not a dopaminergic drug (amphetamines and cocaine directly, opiods indirectly) It works on our endocannabinoid system, supplementing our body's own chemicals (endocannabinoids) that affect those receptors.

What is everyones opinion on the floaties in Sinensis? A flaw? A mistake? Intentional and acceptable for the style? No big deal? I've been dumping the last ounce because it's just weird to look at all that shit in my glass while enjoying it. Am I just being a wimp? Discuss.

    Blood orange pulp.

I was wondering the same. I checked almost every six pack on the shelves for the sediment and every one had it. What's up with that shit? Either way I drank every bit of it including the floaties.

I liked this latest one. Does anyone know which hops are used?

The Citrusinesness is fantastic - grabbed a six last week, it's delicious and what I had hoped Grapefruit Sculpin to be.

I applaud your superior knowledge, sir. I knew about 40% of that, and greatly appreciate the knowledge of the rest. Regardless of the facts, dope's got dopamine, and if the dope's dope enough to make me choke, it's dope I'm down to smoke. :stuck_out_tongue:

But the sound of this citrusinensis sounds wonderful. I like the idea of it containing the blood orange pulp. It reminds me of a blood orange soda that my friend and I really enjoy.

Has anyone seen Citrusiensis around Philadelphia — either on tap or bottled?

Pretty sure it was only available in June. Sorry, man. You might find their July brew, but I couldn't tell you where to look in your area. You can probably find out on the interwebs with a solid "Lagunitas onehitter where to find" search or something along those lines. Good luck

I work up in Montgomeryville/North Wales and haven't seen it at all around here. What bottle shops have you hit up? Monde Market on 21st & Chestnut had the High Westified a few months ago

Just like my OJ, I prefer Low Pulp. A little blood orange pulp is good for you!
