Lagunitas Sucks 32oz bottles

Oh I like that. Stopped at Stub and Herb's last week before the Viking's game and saw they had it on tap. I got excited and ordered one only to learn they were out. Can't wait to get my hands on some sucks!

 

I had one last month when I was back in CO for a couple of weeks. Thanks for the heads up.

 

Qurious to hear other's thoughts on these. Drinking one right now and it is completely different to me. I've had enough of these since its inception back in ''11 and right off the bat with the aroma, I knew I was diving into something different. While still good, that tropical bomb seems lost. Now it's coming off a bit dryer and bitter. These are now brewed in Chicago, right?...could this be a different recipe? Lake Michigan water?

Well, it's not the same as N. Cali water, that's for sure. Wherever each brewery sources their water from is different and will chemically alter/adjust til they find the right ph levels, etc...just a thought. Bottom line is, I'm tasting something entirely different.

Been lovin on Sucks 32oz in Hudson for 2 weeks...

 

Found them at the Craft Beer Cellar in Nashua, NH this afternoon!!!!!

 

The Quarts of Sucks, released in MN tomorrow, were brewed in Petaluma, California. This brewery is serious about quality and mirroring the flavors from each facility. They basically ran this market out of Pils kegs over ther summer because Petaluma couldn't keep up and the Chicago facility couldn't match the taste. Like every brewery that opens a second operation, consistency is priority #1.

 

I am glad its not Lake Michigan water

 

I picked one up at Casanova yesterday. I am really glad to hear that my Sucks purchases won't be limited to weekends when I'm heading back from Wisconsin.

 

I had it on tap last week at Republic Uptown, and out of the fat glass on Saturday.
The tap was ok, but the bottle was much better, IMO.

 

Does anybody know the price yet in MN? I'm guessing $7-$10/bottle? I sure do miss those $9.99 6 packs of Sucks!

I may be behind the wagon here, but are there no Sucks 6 packs this year?

 

Is there anyone taking down 32 oz. of Sucks in a sitting? Seems like a pretty crazy amount of relatively high ABV beer for a single, non-resealable bottle.

 

32 oz. = 2 pints Now how many times have we all been out and had 2 pints?

 

I'm drinking the whole thing tonight,so happy when I found this today

 

Im on my second of the night. Sooooooo good. 4 pints in 4 hours, not a bad thing when watching the Bears possibly piss it down their leg.

Oh and the Blues Brothers is on as well. Can life get better during Halftime?
