Lagunitas Sucks availability?!?

I found some "aged" Sucks. Didn't feel like spending the money for it though. Never tasted one more than 2 months old.

Actually I do know at least based on another thread on here: its going to be a year round, in 32 ounce bottles only, in late fall. They don't have the hops for it yet. Don't bring up the subject of why 32 ounces, do a search first.

 

Sucks will be released this winter in it's regular rotation, but my understanding is that it will be year round from that point going forward.

 

i bought some (like an idiot) in mammoth last weekend...couldn't resist the temptation. the store owners swore it was recently delivered. i knew it was old...folded anyways. note to self: old lagunitas sucks, sucks. drink fresh!

 

I beg to differ, it doesn't drop off so much, but just gets slightly sweeter. Still a good brew...

I held on to one to see how it would do and finally gave it a try about a month ago. It was a shell of it's former self. But hopefully we will never have to worry about when it comes out again after this release. I want a thread that talks about how much they are sick of Sucks....

 

When I had one last month that was brewed in january it lost all of its mango/passionfruit flavor and just a sweet hop flavor and the malt picked up a bunch. still good, but not even close to what it once was.

 

Hmm. All things considered, I'd say that you're the lucky one.
