Not sure what the big deal is about this beer. It's an ok example of a West Coast IPA, but not nearly as good as several regional IPAs. Again, I've never been blown away by Lagunitas.

I'm seeing this stuff everywhere in northern VA. I don't have enough room in my car to haul a bunch home so I'm hoping there will be some left on the shelves of northern NJ when I get back. See so many beers I can't get at home on the shelves of friggin grocery stores down here makes me seriously question my living situation...

Hit Athens about two weeks ago. I'm so excited that we will have it on a regular basis.

I fuckin' love this brew! No, it's not "mind-blowing" and it's not the best IPA out there. It's simply met my expectations every year. In my book, this deserves high praise.

Will hope the dating code on mine is an error some how; it says 2383, which makes this beer well over 3 months old. Tasted fine yesterday....

That's what I'm thinking, plenty of pine & citrus in these bottles...

    It's a great IPA @ $10 a 6 pack.

are you looking at the right line of code? there are supposed to be two lines and the date is on the top line, it will be
    3XX 3
    2383 229

    or something along those lines

My bottles & six pack carton only have one set of numbers. At the end of those numbers is another 4 digit set that seem to be sequential as one is 0014 & the other is 0015. It tastes pretty fresh to me.

Still not in N. Florida. Every few days all local beer stores say "probably this week". Is it that hard to know when a beer is coming in?

Picked up my first sixer (this year) of this yesterday. Every bit as delicious, drinkable, and enjoyable as I remember

My hangover on New Years Day was because of a few too many Lagunitas Sucks. So tasty.

If north NJ doesn't get this soon I may just go loony....either that or take the trip to manhattan and pick some up over there.

I picked up a sixer of this last night with a 361 date code. I can't pinpoint it, but it tastes different this time around. Not bad, but it just seems less flavorful, with less of the flavor I normally attribute to Simcoe hops. When it was out last year, I remember it tasting just like it did in 2012. To make sure it wasn't just me, I got my wife to taste it. She doesn't really drink very much, and doesn't really like any beers but big IPAs. Sucks is actually the only beer she's ever had where she drank a whole bottle. She agreed that it wasn't the same. Not that it's bad--I had three bottles in an attempt to pin down the differences . But unless other bottlings are different, I can't see myself buying this by the case like I did the last two years.

I kinda noticed this too. Went through 2 six packs. Its still really great stuff, but I think its lacking a bit of the dankness that I remember it having in the last couple years. For some reason, this years seems earily reminiscent of Sumpin Sumpin imo.
